Welcome to the Polling USA House model for March 15, 2026!

As the US-Iran war kicks off its third week, and with tensions seemingly no closer to resolving themselves in the region, the Republicans continue to face a dire situation at home.

While recent polls have pushed the Republicans slightly closer to the Democrats on the generic ballot, the Democrats are still maintaining a comfortable lead both in the polls and on the model.

Today, the Democrats sit at 235 seats on average, down one seat from last week’s model update. As a result, the Republicans rose one seat to get back into the 200s, but how long that will last is anyone’s guess.

Let’s chat about some of the recent polls and cover the model results further.
