Welcome to the Polling USA House model for December 21, 2025!

With the Epstein Files once again rocking the White House as it works to run cover for Donald Trump, the situation in the polls remains relatively unchanged. In short, Democrats continue to hold the advantage less than a year out from the midterms.

In the latest model average, Democrats sit at 233 seats, down two since the previous update one month ago, while Republicans have gained two seats over the same period and now sit at 202.

With Trump’s approval ratings remaining low across virtually every issue, combined with some Democratic momentum in this year’s special elections, it is little surprise that Republicans are increasingly anxious about what lies ahead in eleven months.

Let’s chat about some of the recent polls, and cover the model results further!
