Welcome to the Polling USA House model for January 11, 2026!

Last week, we saw the United States government bomb Venezuela and kidnap its leader to New York. This week, ICE agents were caught gunning down a mother of three in the streets of Minneapolis, sparking widespread outrage across the nation.

On the generic ballot front, things have been relatively quiet. That was to be expected following the end of the holidays and the return to work. As a result, Democrats remain stable at 238 seats this week, while Republicans are also flat at 197.

Let’s chat about some of the recent polls, the news, and cover the model results further!
